Sentences are of Five kinds:
- Assertive sentence: The sentence which expresses the general statements is the assertive sentence. (The assertive sentences are of Two kinds.)
- Affirmative sentence: Example: He regularly goes to college. Fisherman catches fish.
- Negative sentence: He does not
- Interrogative sentence:
- Imperative sentence: The sentence which expresses the Order, the Advice, request, forbid and propose is called Imperative sentence.

Please, give me a glass of water.

- Structure: Forbid
Do not+ verb+object +extension
Do not hate the poor.
- Optative sentence: The sentence which expresses Wish and Prayer is called Optative sentence.
- Structure: wish
if+sub+were+complement.
If I were a bird.
Pray
May+Sub+verb+object.
May Allah bless you.
May our Presedent live long.
- Exclamatory sentence:
Structure: What+a/an+adjective+noun+sub(it)+verb(is)+exclamatory mark(!)
What a beautiful bird it is!
